Terrifying Immigrant Takes the Form of a Soft Chubby Bear
I not only designed print and digital promotional materials for Baruch Porras Hernandez’s latest one-man show, but also created costume and accessory pieces with a “galactic piñata” aesthetic.

AfterDark Events Rebranding
I’m currently redesigning event logos and promotions and developing brand guidelines for AfterDark, a San Francisco BDSM event organizer. Because of the, ahem, spicy nature of the content, I’m sharing a small collection of the over a dozen event logos/wordmarks developed so far.
Queer Open Mic (2011-2016)
Collaborating with Baruch Porras Hernandez, I created the print and digital promotional art for his Queer Open Mic—a monthly performance platform for LGBTQIA+ poets, writers, musicians, and comedians in San Francisco. Each month, one, two, or multiple artists would headline a poster. Performers provided a promo photo (in varying styles and resolutions), and I used colors, fonts, and photo retouching to complement its energy.
San Francisco Cuddle Party Social Media & Email Photography
While volunteering at the San Francisco Cuddle Party at HeartLab!, I coordinate quick photo shoots to provide imagery for the organizer’s social media and email marketing. Models are fellow volunteers.
Bawdy Storytelling Posters
Bawdy Storytelling is an event similar to The Moth, where performers share their sexual adventures/misadventures. I mainly handled monthly print production for the event, but I also designed a couple of special show posters, including an illustration of the host, Dixie de la Tour, for the 10th anniversary show.
